R1 Indoor Karting, Lincoln RI
R1 Indoor Karting in Lincoln (Rhode Island, USA) opened Dart City in November 2021. With 10 dart lanes in a 2,000 sq. feet space and a full bar they have a capacity of about 125 people. Dart City is their 4th major activity next to karting, TimeZone and axe throwing.

Dart City’s first location is at R1 Indoor Karting in Rhode Island, USA. They opened a location with 10 targets in November 2021.
Dart City uses a sophisticated image processing algorithm to identify the locations of the thrown darts in real time. The system consists of a set of cameras and a processing unit. The cameras are connected to the processing unit by USB cables. Whenever a dart hits the board, the processing unit calculates the position of the dart along with its corresponding score.
For recreational players the accuracy will be 99.9%. That means for every 1,000 darts we get 999 right!
Steel tip darts with professional bristle dart boards.
No, you can use your regular dartboard and darts. Dart Cirty is compatible with the products of all the major dartboard manufacturers.
Note that the image processing algorithm expects the dartboard to have standard dimensions, traditional coloring and to be equipped with the traditional metal number ring. It is recommended to avoid using dark-coloured barrels, shafts and flights for better accuracy.

We currently have 4 games, and have more games coming:
- Battery Battle: The first who can charge its battery to 180 points wins.
- Robot Surgery: In 6 rounds players try to repair their robot by hitting bullseyes. The closer to the bullseye the more points.
- Contract Killer: Hit yourself 3x to become a killer. Eliminate the rest before they kill you.
- Shanghai Dreams: In round 1 all players aim for number 1, in round 2 all players aim for number 2, and so on, till number 7. Players get more points for hitting double and triples.
